How to Manifest Everything You Want in 2020: Part 2, Align

Ok now that you've gotten really clear on what you want, it's time to align with these goals.

Like I said in the last post, I used to feel like the universe was working against me. That was, until I made a shift.

Because the universe can only give you what you want when you are ready to receive it. So let's talk about how to prepare yourself for what you want.

Part Two: How to align with your vision and goals for the year and the life you want.

There are three main steps I want to talk about when it comes to aligning with your goals.

1. You need hustle AND flow.

First, there is a belief that we have to hustle and grind CONSTANTLY to reach our goals. But there is an underlying cause to this belief. In our world, there is currently an overpowering masculine energy. This energy conditions us to believe that we have to do something to deserve anything.

But there are "feminine" and "masculine" energies in each of us that need to find a balance if we want to truly live the life we want. I'm not talking about the gender norms we assign to the words feminine and masculine. I'm only talking about the qualities of the energies themselves, which are often referred to as Yin and Yang, but I prefer using the words feminine and masculine.

For example, if it is masculine (yang) energy to work and go after, it is feminine (yin) energy to rest and receive and expect. If you are mind-over-matter, enjoy leadership, are called a Type A personality, that means you really lean into your masculine (yang) energy. If you feel EVERYTHING, are sensitive of others emotions, and find it easy to be vulnerable and empathetic, then you have a very strong feminine (yin) energy.

When feminism began to rise in the mid 1800s, women took on more masculine energy (and qualities culturally specific to men) to gain respect. And I am thankful as hell for each and every one of them who fought for us. They sacrificed a lot to get women where we are today. However, they often had to cast aside their feminine (yin) energy, and sometimes even hate it.

But now, in 2020, to truly get EVERYTHING we want, it is time to shift into balance.

Pay attention to your energy balance.

You need both yin and yang, feminine and masculine, to truly align with your goals for your life.

Schedule in time for work, and also for play. Give to others, and open your heart to receiving. Put your work out there and expect people to find you because of it. Do the work, and give yourself rest. Tell yourself every day, I deserve everything that is coming to me.

2. Clear away anything that blocks your path.

People are as toxic as you allow them to be, and it starts with yourself and what you allow in your life.

Before I met my current fiancé, I had been sort-of-seeing a handful of different guys. I was extremely anti-commitment for a while, and also dealing with some low levels of confidence, and it showed in how I handled my love life. I needed a man for each part of my life, but none of them could really give me all that I wanted and I made sure they knew that.

Then one night I was just done with it all. I was tired of the games. I envisioned what I wanted in a man, and I asked the universe for him. The thing is, Universe didn't give him to me right away.

I had to clear away anything that was blocking our paths, which was mostly my view of myself and my beliefs of what I deserved.

I had to believe I deserved such a great guy and that I deserved to be treated well. I should be a priority. So, to any of the men in my life - who were mostly all great guys, but didn't prioritize me - I gently ended things. I even made peace with an ex, who is now one of my best friends.

It was hard to do this, but the freedom I felt afterwards was incredible. I showed myself what I deserved.

So when this blonde haired cutie bounced up to me and shook my hand, I took one look in those bright blue eyes and knew that all of the hard work was worth it. And now, a year and a half later, we are engaged!

3. Live as if you already have everything you want.

This is advice I used to get for job interviews and auditions.

Go into it imagining you already have it.

That way you aren't busy worrying about if you deserve it. Just enjoy that the universe is supporting you in your journey to what you are here for.

If you haven't read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, this would be the perfect time to do so. It's a story about a boy on his journey to realizing his dreams. One of my favorite quotes from the book is,

“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

This also helps you practice gratefulness, which is essential to manifesting what you want. You need to raise your vibrations to match the vibrations of the life you want, and gratefulness is the gateway to getting there.

My favorite mantra is, "Thank you for what I have, and thank you for all that is coming."

Trust that good things are coming your way and CELEBRATE when they do!

I hope that this was helpful in your journey of creating the life you want.

It is a wild thought that we have the power to control our lives and bring into it the things we want and need. Trust the process, and don't be surprised when the universe asks you to change to be ready to receive what you're working and asking for.
